Following the Star to Holiness

Homily for the Epiphany of the Lord, Year A
Isaiah 60.1-6 Psalm 72 Ephesians 3.2-3a, 5-6 Matthew 2.1-12

I did not write a full text for this week's homily, but rather preached from an outline - an experiment in a different method of preaching than what I am used to. So there is no full text for the homily, just the sound file below.

Click here to listen to or download an audio (mp3) file of this homily.

This was good, but seemed to not complete the dots. I was expecting some concrete examples of "resolutions" to help become holy. Examples could be go to confession (once a month or even twice a year), pray once a day, read the bible, go to church, attend Week One, go to adoration, participate in mass... I and others need specific examples. Even one example could be followed from the example back to how this makes one holy.

The premise was there, but I missed the connection to your intro on resolutions.
